The Mickey Printed Pajamas

Hello!
Been a while since I have posted anything! Firstly, belated valentines day wishes to all :)
(Our V-day contest ends this Sunday. Check here for details)

Today's post is what I wore on valentines day. Nah! not a rose as my headgear or hearts as my neck-wear and neither did I chose to be drenched in red (though I am quite a fan of all the three) :D
I simply chose my "pajamas" (yes! the ones we would normally sleep in) and a plain blue shirt for the day. Sounds boring? Hmm... But I think it doesn't look so boring.

I wore my pretty peach spaghetti and threw on top my boring blue shirt. Owing to the hot and grimy weather in Mumbai, I chose to wear my printed pajamas.

We love drama! :D

Tan gladiators

I layered my accessories to give the look some edge. Since I wanted my new "snake" neck-piece to be the main attention, I used a subtle one as my lower layer.

I thought I would give a shot with make-up this time and I think I look pretty fine! A hint of blush on the cheeks and white lined eyes with a dash of mascara and I was ready!

I used my light gold eyeshadow to line my lower lids

My over-rocked all season bag from Bandra!

We went to "The Cafe-Executive Enclave" on Pali Hill.
Amazing ambience with amazing food and live music! And the best part - Its roof top!

Skulls and Monochrome

Hello!
Be it a party, get-together, birthday, family outing or any occasion, the first thought that strikes us is *what to wear* ? A closet full of clothes, but even then, a lady's wardrobe is always missing something!
But there are times when there is no occasion and you still want to dress up! Well, what you call a "feel-good" factor. It is in times like these when you have no excuse at all to buy new clothes (closet full you see!) but still want something new and fresh to wear. The only solution (acc. to me) is to put together stuff you have never done before.
It was a similar situation for me. But I was in no mood for too many colors and chose the basic B&W (yes! we love monochromes!)
I paired my Vero Moda Skull Blouse with black trousers and used my Forever New bow brooch as a bow-tie. And this was the result!

Some *studs* !

There can never be enough poses! :p

"Mirror Mirror on the wall, ... "

Time to add some colour now I think!

*Peek-a-boo*!

My current favourite neon shade from Maybelline and the only pop of color on me..

Would love to hear from you! Do comment in the section below and let me know how you liked it.

Beach Therapy

Hello!

Who does not love the sea? The beach is a place of healing and joy. The salt cleanses us and the sun embraces us in its warmth. The ocean heals the heart, mind, and soul.

When Ethnic meets Vintage

Hello!

Polka dots are a fashion must-haves for every woman. A vintage trend like polka dots never go out of fashion. It's a style for all seasons, an incredibly timeless option for glitter girls of all ages!

In the fast changing world of fashion, Indian fashion has stood its ground graciously over all these years. The
Prints of Bagru, unlike other prints, involve a different kind
of printing. In the process, the desired design is
engraved on a wooden block first and then the carved block
is used for replicating the design in the preferred color on the
fabric.

Seen here is a mix of the two - vintage and ethnic!

pretty pink with silver polka dotted "dupatta" worn as a waistband over a short ethnic printed kurti. Accessorized with colourful bangles on one hand....

Wooden bangles(on the other ofcourse!) and earrings. Floral Bagru Print on the kurti.

and a happy and playful girl!

Checkered Obsession

Hello!

Fashion is ever changing, but some things are forever, and checkered trend maybe is one of them.
Yes! checkered fashion is in again! Been in the fashion scene since the past three decades, it is definitely a thing of the past that has made a come back with the intention to stay.

The print is originally called "tartan", particularly associated with Scotland. Tartans originated in woven-wool, but now they are made in many other materials. The one I am wearing is made of 100% cotton - the shirt, and 2 ply woven scarf over my denim coloured tube top. I accessorized it with my brand new leopard print 70's shades, my tiny yellow-hearts earring and my dual-toned owl ring.

tiny hearts ear top that I bought from a roadside vendor. I have them in 3 colors!! :P

I paired the look with my uber-comfy crimson flats with brown string bows

How would you go about with your checkered obsession? Share with me!

Winter Bloom

Hello!!

Doesn't this look like retro with a twist? floral and polka dots not a must for something retro. Here, paired is a bright fuchsia maxi dress with leopard print collar necklace and a glitter scarf.
And the background blends in so well with the whole look!

Though we had some tough time bargaining with the guards for time to finish the shoot. 8-)

But personally, I love this look!

Glee!!

Lost within !!! ( balancing on that tiny rock was a tough job )

My current favourite piece of jewellery!

My "summer scarf" :D

And my Lady!!
